2010 Shearing Next Week !

The ewes and rams at Grace Valley Farms are sporting some beautiful, long wool fleeces these days. We are all looking forward to shearing day! Early on the morning of February 2nd, our family will begin final preparations for shearing. Our helpers will arrive at 7:30 and we'll get ourselves organized. Shearing will begin around 8am and will continue into early afternoon. This is sure to be a busy day as there are many sheep to be shorn and 32 fleeces on which to perform the first skirting. We'll post shearing pictures over the next couple of weeks!
